Welcome to our online updates page!!
This is our first post of what we imagine will be quite a few.
We plan on updating this board with at least one new message each day as we follow our itinerary around half of the US.
We will be taking video which we may be get uploaded to YouTube, or it may wind up as a documentary of our travels shown all at once upon our return. You'll it find out here...
Please keep posted...

think about staying at colleges if you can't find a couch somewhere else
Hey -- tell us about Cleveland!
-- tell us about Ann Arbour! What's it like there? When will you be in Chicago?
Last night was First Friday in Albany, fun and folly, as usual!
AIAH was catered by Ballinger's (a downtown restaurant, 42
Howard Street) -- jumbo shrimp with cocktail sauce, grilled
chicken with a curry dipping sauce, and grilled keilbasa with
a mustard dipping sauce. And Long Trails Brewery gave out
samples of four different beers. Elissa moved her store to
a larger, brighter location ((229 Lark Street, same side of the
street as her last store). It has even more great stuff and the
store was set up beautifully! Check it out Albanians! Albany
First Fridays rock.
Another great event -- Troy's Waterfront Farmer's Market, every Saturday
9am to noon. Local produce (peaches, berries, cherries, broccoli, peas,
beans, summer squash...), Fair Trade coffee ($1 for a cup of java),
local guitar man, honey, flowers, fresh local pesto (the best ever!),
ginger chutney, wines, cheeses, and much, much more. It buzzes with
people, young and old (and in between). The place to be on Saturday
mornings!
